Westwork has evolved over the last 26 years. Working closely with each client, we started as a small architectural firm that specialized in creative, cost effective designs. As the number of projects grew we began to realize that our ability to maintain the very personal, hands-on relationships with our clients was becoming jeopardized.
The result, over fifteen years ago, was a return to our original business model: a small, nimble firm where success is measured by quality, not quantity.
From the initial meetings, through design and construction, you will interact directly with one of the principals, as will your contractor. Our size also allows us more freedom to focus on the specific needs of each client.
From client meetings, through design, city meetings, construction drawings, site observations, questions during construction- the principals will handle every phase of your project.
Though we offer the considerable advantages of a small hands-on firm, we are connected to a well coordinated team of proven engineers and consultants with whom we've worked on a large number of projects, ranging in size from 1,200 to 35,000 square feet. Depending on the needs of the project, we work with and manage civil engineers, landscape architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, lighting consultants, interior designers, artists, and general contractors.
In addition, as our clients or consultants will attest, we strive for collaboration, balancing our expertise with our clients' sensibilities and visions.
